I want to say I am glad to move on from this somber book, but I’m also reminded that this books reveals God‘s heart for his people. He suffered when his people rejected him, cried out to them over and over again when their sins mounted on and relented for so long in sending the curses outlined in his covenant.

So thankful for a God who is slow…

Psalm 27:4 One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.
