									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My research, took me to the gospel of John, chapter 5. In this account, we are told that by the Sheep Gate there is a pool which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda. It is here that Jesus heals a man who was paralyzed for 38 years.</p>
<p>I also found it interesting that the rebuilding of Jerusalem‘s wall started at the Sheep Gate and went counterclockwise,&hellip;</p>

He suffered when his people rejected him, cried out to them over and over again when their sins mounted on and relented for so long in sending the curses outlined in his covenant. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As I am reading Jeremiah, the Lord appears as an attorney outlining all of the offenses of the dependent. If Israel ever wanted to know why the exile, Jeremiah is a good compilation of its offenses towards God and the covenant.<br />
This book also reminds me of Habakkuk. </p>
