I like Psalm 36. It starts with this great verse:

Psalm 36:1 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. His loving devotion endures forever.

And then continues by reminding us of His Story. It is amazing to be a part of His Story. He is the noun, and we are the adjectives!

I think it has something to do with tracking the line of Kings from David. Perhaps allowing for the hope that one day a King from that line will come who can straighten out the mess.
