Meet Steve Lawes
For more than three decades, Steve Lawes has served as a pastor, teacher, coach, consultant, and encourager. His ministry has included local church leadership, Bible education, spiritual formation, leadership development, church revitalization, and pastoral encouragement.
Today, Steve serves as the pastor of Keys Vineyard Church in the Florida Keys and leads a growing ecosystem of initiatives designed to encourage pastors, equip leaders, strengthen churches, and support believers in their Kingdom calling.
At the heart of each initiative is a simple conviction: people flourish when they are encouraged, heard, and supported in following Jesus faithfully.

A Connected Ministry Ecosystem
Church Consultant serves as a hub for an integrated ecosystem of resources designed to help individuals, leaders, and churches grow in wisdom, formation, stewardship, ministry effectiveness, and Kingdom impact.
At the heart of this ecosystem is the Kingdom Impact Framework, built around six Encourager Pathways: DISC, GIFT, GATE, PATH, WISE, and LIFE. Each pathway helps individuals or churches explore a specific dimension of Kingdom growth, while together they form an integrated pathway of discovery, discernment, formation, stewardship, and flourishing.
The ecosystem also includes Christian Practices, Sacred Rhythms, Daily Bread Intake, Kingdom Encouragers, the Online Bible Institute, and the BIBLE (Biblical Insights, Behavior, Learning, and Engagement) Platform. Each resource serves a unique purpose, but together they create a connected environment for spiritual growth, lifelong learning, leadership development, and church flourishing.
Our shared mission is simple: to encourage, equip, and strengthen the Body of Christ through practical tools, biblical wisdom, Christ-centered formation, and faithful Kingdom service.

For more than thirty years, I have had the privilege of serving pastors, churches, ministry leaders, and believers in a variety of settings. Along the way, I have learned that encouragement matters. Sometimes what people need most is not another program, strategy, or solution, but a trusted conversation, a listening ear, and a reminder that they do not have to walk alone.
That conviction continues to shape everything we do through Church Consultant. Whether someone is exploring one of the Encourager Pathways, participating in Christian Practices, engaging with Sacred Rhythms, learning through the Online Bible Institute, connecting through Kingdom Encouragers, or contributing to the B.I.B.L.E. platform, our desire is the same: to create spaces where people can be encouraged, supported, equipped, and attentive to God’s leading in their lives and ministries.
This work is sustained through a model of shared generosity. Some participants are supported through grants and designated gifts. Others choose to invest forward so that another pastor, church, or believer can benefit from the same experience. Because of this, many of our conversations, cohorts, and initiatives are offered without a required fee, helping make encouragement and support accessible to those who need it.
