Church Encourager Initiative
Walking with Pastors in Discernment and Hope
The Church Encourager Initiative is a faith-rooted ministry created to offer intentional encouragement and attentive presence to pastors and ministry leaders as they navigate the realities of leadership and calling. Rather than providing solutions or strategies, the initiative creates space for leaders to be heard, supported, and spiritually attentive in the midst of ministry life.
At its core, the Church Encourager Initiative is shaped by listening and discernment. Through small, facilitated gatherings and individual encouragement conversations, participants are invited to reflect on their current season, notice God’s movement, and consider next faithful steps without pressure to perform or produce outcomes.
The initiative serves pastors and ministry leaders through small, thoughtfully formed cohorts where the work unfolds through real relationships. Tools such as the Christian DISC framework may be used in supportive ways, but they are not the focus. The emphasis remains on presence, prayerful reflection, and encouragement.
The Church Encourager Initiative is for those who sense a need for space rather than answers, and for companionship rather than advice. Leadership does not have to be carried alone. In this season, we are choosing to listen carefully and walk alongside one another for the good of the Church and the glory of God.
Participation in the Church Encourager Initiative is sustained through a shared generosity model. Some participants are supported through grants and designated gifts, while others choose to invest forward so another pastor or leader can engage in the same formation experience. For this reason, participation is offered without a required fee, allowing engagement that is accessible and sustainable.

Personal Encouragement Conversations
Personal Encouragement Conversations offer pastors and ministry leaders a quiet, confidential space to be heard and supported. These one-on-one sessions are centered on listening, prayerful reflection, and discernment rather than advice-giving or problem-solving. During the pilot season, participants engage in brief encouragement conversations designed to help them notice where they are, attend to God’s movement, and consider next faithful steps in ministry and life. The focus is presence, not performance — companionship, not correction.
Small Cohort Gatherings
Small Cohort Gatherings bring together a limited number of pastors and ministry leaders for guided, relational conversations rooted in encouragement and mutual listening. These gatherings are intentionally small and facilitated to foster trust, confidentiality, and shared reflection. Rather than offering instruction or solutions, cohort gatherings create space for participants to name what they are carrying, listen deeply to one another, and be encouraged through prayerful presence. This pilot prioritizes depth of relationship over breadth of reach.
Kingdom Encouragers Network
The Kingdom Encouragers Network is an established relational community of pastors and ministry leaders who desire ongoing connection, encouragement, and prayerful presence beyond structured gatherings. Rather than functioning as a content-driven platform, the Network exists to reduce isolation and foster mutual support among those serving in ministry. During the pilot phase of the Church Encourager Initiative, participants may choose to engage with the Kingdom Encouragers Network as a complementary, light-touch space for continued conversation, shared reflection, and encouragement. Over time, the Network provides relational continuity for leaders walking through various seasons of ministry with attentiveness, grace, and faithfulness.
Christian DISC Reflection Tool
The Christian DISC framework may be used during the pilot as a supportive reflection tool, helping participants notice patterns in communication, leadership tendencies, and relational dynamics. Rooted in a biblical understanding of human design, this tool serves as a conversation aid rather than a diagnostic or prescriptive model. Within the Church Encourager Initiative, DISC is not an endpoint but a lens — one of several ways participants may gain insight as they reflect on how God has uniquely shaped them for faithful service.
