Church Encourager Initiative
Walking with Pastors in Discernment and Hope
A faith-rooted ministry of intentional encouragement, attentive presence, and prayerful discernment for pastors and ministry leaders.
Begin the ConversationSpace to Be Heard
The Church Encourager Initiative offers intentional encouragement and attentive presence to pastors and ministry leaders as they navigate the realities of leadership and calling.
Rather than providing solutions or strategies, the initiative creates space for leaders to be heard, supported, and spiritually attentive in the midst of ministry life.
“Leadership does not have to be carried alone. In this season, we are choosing to listen carefully and walk alongside one another for the good of the Church and the glory of God.”
How the Initiative Works
The work unfolds through real relationships, thoughtful reflection, and guided spaces of encouragement.
Personal Encouragement Conversations
Quiet, confidential one-on-one spaces centered on listening, prayerful reflection, and discernment rather than advice-giving or problem-solving.
Small Cohort Gatherings
Guided, relational gatherings where pastors and leaders can name what they are carrying, listen deeply, and be encouraged through prayerful presence.
Kingdom Encouragers Network
An ongoing relational community for pastors and ministry leaders who desire continued connection, encouragement, and mutual support beyond structured gatherings.
Christian DISC Reflection Tool
A supportive reflection tool that helps participants notice communication patterns, leadership tendencies, and relational dynamics as part of discernment.
Presence, not performance.
Encouragement, not evaluation.
A Listening and Discernment Posture
At its core, the Church Encourager Initiative is shaped by listening and discernment. Through small, facilitated gatherings and individual encouragement conversations, participants are invited to reflect on their current season, notice God’s movement, and consider next faithful steps.
Tools such as the Christian DISC framework may be used in supportive ways, but they are not the focus. The emphasis remains on presence, prayerful reflection, and encouragement.
A Personal Invitation
Encouragement Sustained by Shared Generosity
For more than thirty years, I have had the privilege of serving pastors, churches, ministry leaders, and believers in a variety of settings. Along the way, I have learned that encouragement matters. Sometimes what people need most is not another program, strategy, or solution, but a trusted conversation, a listening ear, and a reminder that they do not have to walk alone.
That conviction has shaped everything we do through Church Consultant. Whether through the Church Encourager Initiative, Kingdom Influence Project, Virtual Church Spark, or Kingdom Stewardship Initiative, our goal is to create spaces where people can be encouraged, supported, and attentive to God’s leading in their lives and ministries.
This work is sustained through a model of shared generosity. Some participants are supported through grants and designated gifts. Others choose to invest forward so that another pastor, church, or believer can benefit from the same experience. Because of this, many of our conversations, cohorts, and initiatives are offered without a required fee, helping make encouragement and support accessible to those who need it.
