Encourager GATE

The Herald

A/T – Action + Truth

A ministry calling profile for believers whose expression often combines courageous communication, biblical conviction, and a passion for calling people toward faithful action.

The Herald profile blends the Action emphasis of the Messenger with the Truth emphasis of the Watchman. Heralds often reflect an evangelistic and prophetic ministry function without requiring a formal title or office.

As a Herald, you may naturally feel compelled to speak God’s truth with clarity, courage, and urgency. You are often drawn toward communicating the gospel, calling people to faithfulness, challenging complacency, and helping others respond to God’s invitation.

Heralds frequently remind people that God’s truth calls for a response. This profile reminds us that faithful proclamation is not about drawing attention to ourselves. It is about faithfully delivering the King’s message with humility, conviction, and love.

GATE in Ministry

The Herald expression is not a ministry title or office. It is a way of describing how a person’s ministry calling may be expressed through bold communication, biblical conviction, and faithful proclamation.

For Heralds, growth often comes through remembering that truth is most powerful when it is spoken with humility, compassion, and love. Healthy proclamation always points people toward Jesus rather than toward the messenger.

Faithful Proclamation

Key Verse: 2 Timothy 4:2

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”

The invitation for the Herald is to faithfully proclaim God’s truth with courage, humility, and love.

As Heralds mature in Christ, conviction becomes compassion, proclamation becomes discipleship, and courage becomes faithful service to the King whose message they carry.
